What would it cost at your place?
A few questions. A range on screen.
Thin turf, bare patches, weeds — usually soil, chinch bugs, or grubs.
Diagnose first. Build only the program the lawn needs.

Revive
Soil HealthPelletized compost topdressing, core aeration, pH correction, biological inputs. Soil first. No seeding unless the lawn needs it — and if the visit changes the plan, we check with you first.

Repair
Precision SeedingCertified Pickseed, placed mechanically into prepared soil at 6 lbs/1,000 sq ft — never broadcast over problems. Chosen for Ottawa's disease and chinch pressure.

Restart
New LawnWhen a lawn is too far gone, we say so. Saturated steam clears weeds and roots, then Manderley sod goes down on improved soil.
Don't replace your driveway. Revive it.
Most tired interlock still has good stone and a good base.
- Saturated steam in every open joint — weeds and roots are dead before new sand goes in.
- Premium polymeric sand, compacted and levelled for Ottawa's freeze-thaw.
- Optional CAT5 seal — after the joints have cured and proven sound.

We confirm it in writing
Interlock: David walks it with you, measures it precisely, then sends a written proposal by email after the visit. Lawns: priced by email from your aerial measurement and photos, often with a link to the finished plan — any change on the day is agreed with you first. Steam & Sod replacements are seen in person first.
No sales team. No commission on your job.
The estimator does that work, and it doesn't ask for your email first. The price reflects it.
Methods you won't find at retail.
One name on every job
David quotes it, sets the standard it is done to, and stands behind it.
Commercial saturated steam
Our 400,000 BTU steam unit kills weeds and roots at over 100°C — no herbicide, nothing sprayed.
Certified CAT5 installer
Ottawa's first certified installer of Trident Hurricane CAT5 two-part urethane. Applied only over sound, cured joints.
Certified Pickseed cultivars
Named, certified varieties placed mechanically into prepared soil — never broadcast over an untreated problem.
Soil-first, assess-before-treat
We diagnose the cause — soil chemistry, chinch bugs, grubs — before recommending anything. Sometimes the job is smaller than you expected.
Professional advice
We tell you what you need — including when restoration isn't the right call, or when someone else's approach fits better.
Four Ottawa problems we see first.
Clay soil that compacts
Clay packs down under feet and mowers until roots can't push through. A thin lawn here is often a soil problem, not a grass problem — what Revive — Soil Health and core aeration exist for.
Freeze-thaw working the joints
Water expands about 9% when it freezes, and an Ottawa winter freezes the same joint dozens of times. Once sand washes out, every cycle loosens the stones. Restoration rebuilds the joint; sealing protects the face of the stone.
Grubs and chinch bugs
The two most common reasons a lawn here thins in patches. The damage looks like drought, and gets treated as drought. We diagnose first, then repair the soil and reseed where it's confirmed.
Road salt, lawn and stone
It salts early here, and it doesn't stay on the road. Lawns burn along every driveway and walkway; unsealed stone takes the salt in. Edges come back with soil repair and seeding; stone stays protected with CAT5.
Work we stand behind in writing.
Qualifying interlock restorations carry a 3-year joint warranty on the work itself. Keep the Annual Maintenance & Warranty program — a yearly professional clean and inspection, and that coverage extends to 5 years. What's covered and what isn't is documented before the job starts.
The sand carries its own, separately: restorations are jointed with Techniseal HP NextGel, which Techniseal backs with a 20-year limited warranty on residential installations. That one covers the product; ours covers the work.
"Overall, Lori and I were very happy with both the process and the result. The photos are a nice touch, too. I found your company while doing an online search for interlock repair, and your online cost estimation was a differentiator."
