Hard surfaces that let the ground breathe.
Rainwater that soaks through instead of pooling. Trees that get air and water at the roots instead of suffocating under pavers. ROMEX recommended and certified, we replace impermeable hardscape with bonded pebble stone where it does the most good — starting with the trees.
A tree surround, from choked to breathing.

Four things a solid surface can't do.
Stormwater, managed where it lands
Permeable surfaces let rainwater and snowmelt soak through instead of pooling and running off — less standing water on your hardscape, less load on the drains.
Trees that can finally breathe
Impermeable interlock laid tight to a trunk starves roots of water and air. Replacing it with breathable bonded pebble stone improves infiltration, root health and the tree's long-term vitality — while looking like it was always meant to be there.
Safer, slip-resistant footing
The bonded aggregate surface stays walkable and slip-resistant around trees and along pathways — no loose gravel migrating onto the lawn.
Quietly better for the ecosystem
Water filters naturally through the surface instead of carrying pollutants into storm sewers.
ROMEX recommended & certified — installations to the manufacturer's standard, with a tailored annual maintenance program available to keep them performing. Permeable work also integrates naturally into an interlock restoration or the Annual Maintenance & Warranty program.
Common questions.
What exactly is bonded pebble stone?
Clean pebble aggregate bound with a resin system — we work with ROMEX materials and are proudly ROMEX recommended and certified. The result is a firm, porous surface: water and air pass through, the stones stay put.
Where does it make the most sense?
Tree surrounds are the classic case — replacing the impermeable pavers choking a trunk. It also earns its place in problem drainage spots handled as part of an interlock restoration, or as upgrades within a maintenance program.
Does it need maintenance?
Modest and predictable: annual care per the manufacturer's recommendation, with inspections and touch-ups to keep performance and appearance up. We offer that as a tailored annual program for permeable installations.
What does it cost?
Quoted by assessment — tree surrounds and drainage areas vary too much in size, access and existing hardscape for an honest one-size price. The assessment is free, and the written proposal comes before any work begins.
Describe the area you're converting.
Tell us what you're looking at and we'll come see it — the assessment is free either way.
